Third Time's a Charm!
As the third family to own Thrift Plus, we are excited to serve the community! We are a family of five who live right here in town and have been here for over 18 years. 
Mom, Nancy, is a former Technical Writer who also owned a yarn shop here in town a few years ago. The pandemic put a damper on that, but lucky for you, the yarn and fabric landed in the new shop!
Dad, Mike, who has his own jobs, helps out in the shop in many ways - but mostly when he runs around as a pack mule with Nancy when picking items up from around New England.
Maggie is the oldest kid (by 30 seconds) and went to school for Movie makeup. You'll find Mags in the shop most days as she's the one who know where everything is!
Burke comes next and is currently in school studying psychology. You'll find him at the shop in the summer trying his hardest to organize all the things.
Juliet is the entire reason we own the shop. With no desire to continue schooling after high school and a background working at a Corporate Thrift Chain...when the shop came up for sale, we looked at each other and thought, "this seems right!" (And what a great way to use all that saved up college tuition.) As Jules had the rest of Senior year to finish, Nancy took the reigns (with a lot of help from the others) and is just waiting for Jules to step in so she can take a step back and watch Jules flourish.
We've really enjoyed meeting everyone who's come in so far and we look forward to making many more connections!
