Items We Accept for Consignment:

We are happy to accept a wide range of items, including:

  • *Clothing: Gently used, stylish clothing for men, women, and children.
  • Household Items: Kitchenware, décor, and home accessories.
  • Collectibles: Vintage items, antiques, and limited-edition collectibles.
  • Toys & Games: Gently used toys, puzzles, and games in good condition.
  • Electronics: Gently used electronics, gadgets, and small appliances (in working condition).
  • Sporting Goods: Equipment and gear for a variety of sports and activities.

*We are not accepting new consignors for clothing at this time.

While we would love to consign furniture, we simply do not have the room to do so.

Consignment Process for Individual Items & Clothing:

  • Scheduling: Consignors must schedule an appointment for drop-off of items.
  • Condition: All items must be clean, gently used, and in sellable condition.
  • Display Period: Items will remain in the store for up to 90 days. After this period, items must be picked up by the consignor or they will become property of Thrift Plus.

Commission Split:

  •  Standard Item Consignment

    Commission Split:

    • Initial Split:
      • Thrift Plus retains 50% of the total revenue from item sales.
      • The consignor receives 50% of the total revenue, minus any applicable fees or price reductions.

        If Item is not sold or removed after 90 days, item becomes property of Thrift Plus. 

    • Alternative Commission:
      If you have a minimum price you'd like for your items, alternative commission splits are available. Please inquire in-store for more details.

Supplies Reimbursement:

  • A small fee may be deducted from the consignor’s payout to cover the costs of tags, bins, and other materials used to facilitate the consignment process.

Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Items:

  • Security Measures: Thrift Plus takes reasonable precautions to prevent theft and damage, including surveillance systems and security tags.
  • Liability: However, Thrift Plus is not financially responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged items.

Payouts:

  • Payment Methods: Payments are made via check.
  • Pickup Requirement: Payouts will not be processed until all items have been picked up from Thrift Plus.
  • Sales Tracking: Consignors can track all sales and payouts through the Thrift Plus app or online portal.
  • App & Online Access: Consignors can add new items, track sales, and manage their consignment account directly through the Thrift Plus app or website.

Renewal Policy:

  • Items that have not sold within the 90 day period may be renewed upon request. A pricing change will be discussed at that time.
  • Thrift Plus reserves the right to refuse any renewal request for items that have been in the store for longer than 90 days.

Cancellation & Rescheduling:

  • Consignors may reschedule their appointment for item drop-off with at least 48 hours' notice.
  • Non-Refundable Fees: Cancellations can be made at any time, but consignment fees are non-refundable.

Management Discretion:

  • Item Removal: Thrift Plus reserves the right to remove any items from display at its discretion.
  • Prohibited Items: Counterfeit items and certain premium brands are not allowed in our consignment spaces.
  • Authentication: Thrift Plus does not offer item authentication services.

Consigner Policy: Item Condition, Authenticity, and Acceptance


By consigning with Thrift Plus, the consignor agrees to the following item condition, authenticity standards, and terms of acceptance:

1.      Cleanliness
All items must be clean, free of stains, odors, dirt, or any other signs of neglect. Clothing and fabric items should be freshly laundered, and non-clothing items should be wiped down or cleaned as necessary.

2.      Wrinkle-Free
All clothing items must be free of wrinkles and presented in a neat, ready-to-sell condition. Please ensure that items are properly steamed or ironed prior to drop-off.

3.      Working Order
All items, including electronics, appliances, and mechanical items, must be in fully functional and working order. Items that require batteries should either have batteries included or be tested to ensure they are functional.

4.      No Missing Parts
All items should be complete, with no missing parts, pieces, or components. If an item is intended to include accessories, manuals, or additional pieces, these should be present and in good condition.

5.      No Damage
Consigned items must be free of any damage, such as tears, rips, chips, cracks, or any other imperfections that affect the item's overall quality and value.

6.      No Item Expiration
Any perishable, expired, or time-sensitive items (e.g., cosmetics, food, medications) will not be accepted.

7.      Age of Items
Items should be in good, resaleable condition, with no extreme wear or outdated styles. Please ensure that items are appropriate for current trends and in excellent condition.

8.      Authenticity
Thrift Plus does not accept counterfeit, imitation, or unauthorized replica items. All consigned items must be authentic and genuine. This includes, but is not limited to, designer goods, branded merchandise, and collectibles. Thrift Plus reserves the right to verify the authenticity of any item and will refuse any items found to be counterfeit or fraudulent.

9.      Acceptance and Pricing at Manager's Discretion
All items consigned are accepted at the discretion of Thrift Plus management. The manager reserves the right to determine whether an item will be accepted for consignment and, if accepted, to set the price of the item. Thrift Plus reserves the right to reject any item, modify the price, or remove items from the sales floor at any time, for any reason.

By consigning with Thrift Plus, the consignor acknowledges and agrees to these item condition, authenticity, and acceptance terms. Thrift Plus reserves the right to refuse any items that do not meet these standards or for any other reason, at its sole discretion.

 

Consigner Policy: Stolen or Unauthorized Property


By consigning items with Thrift Plus, the consignor agrees to the following terms regarding the ownership and legality of the items:

1.      Ownership and Legality
The consignor affirms that all items provided for consignment are legally owned by them and are not stolen, lost, or obtained through fraudulent means.

2.      No Third-Party Claims
The consignor declares that the items being consigned are not the property of any other individual or entity, and that no third-party claims of ownership, lien, or rights exist regarding the items.

3.      Indemnification
The consignor agrees to indemnify and hold Thrift Plus harmless from any and all legal claims, damages, or costs arising from the consignment of stolen or unauthorized property. Should any items be found to be stolen or otherwise unlawfully owned, the consignor will be solely responsible for the resolution of the matter, including the return of any funds received for the sale of the items.

4.      Verification and Cooperation
In the event of any suspicion or investigation regarding the legality of the items, the consignor agrees to cooperate fully with Thrift Plus and law enforcement authorities, providing any requested documentation or information regarding the ownership of the consigned items.

By consigning with Thrift Plus, the consignor acknowledges and accepts these terms and agrees to provide only items that are legally and ethically theirs to sell.

 

Disclaimer for Thrift Plus – Tagging Equipment and Price Stickers


By using the tagging equipment and price stickers provided by Thrift Plus, consignors acknowledge and agree to the following:

1.      Use at Your Own Risk: Consignors understand that the tagging equipment is sharp and must be handled with care. Thrift Plus is not responsible for any injuries that may occur during the use of this equipment.

2.      Damage to Items: Thrift Plus is not liable for any damage to items caused by the use of tagging equipment or the application/removal of price stickers. Consignors acknowledge that stickers may be difficult to remove from certain items, and some may leave residue or cause damage to delicate materials.

3.      Assumption of Responsibility: Consignors agree to use the equipment responsibly and at their own risk, taking all necessary precautions to avoid injury or damage to goods.

By proceeding with the use of the tagging equipment and price stickers, consignors confirm that they understand and accept the potential risks associated with these items.
